9am to 4pm
Nationally recognized artist Nyle Gordon will be teaching a two day interior oil painting workshop for beginner to intermediate painters. Students and teacher will be visiting different locations and painting from life. Each day will begin with discussion and demonstration of strategies for painting interiors. During this two day workshop, students will focus on the essentials of observational painting, while learning to keep brushwork expressive and painterly. We will explore fundamentals of color mixing and address composition. Questions and discussion are encouraged. Nyle has a casual and inclusive approach to teaching that puts students at ease. Making the rounds to individual students throughout the day will be a priority.
